Why I Use Essential Oils
In compiling these experiences, we learned that there were many different ways people first heard about essential oils. The most common were:

We also learned that there were several common reasons that many people gave for wanting to try essential oils. Some of the main reasons include:
- Someone gave them the opportunity to sample or use essential oils and they liked how they worked.
- Someone encouraged them to try essential oils, or shared with them the benefits they had received from using essential oils.
- They had a physical, emotional, or other type of problem and wanted to see if essential oils could help them.

I got some Lemon tea, and some Thyme oil from a company who does not post detailed information about their oils on their web site. I asked the herbalist for a good brand of essential oil, and she suggested ‘Young Living Essential Oils’. I created a user name on the web site, then forgot all about it. A while later, I got a letter in the mail from Bonnie Muhn with a copy of the Newsletter explaining the importance of using a quality essential oil. I began rubbing frankincense on the back of my head at the brain stem, and Aroma Siez on my temples. Before starting with the oils my recovery was excruciatingly slow. Within two weeks of beginning to use the oils ‘another veil lifted.’ That was how my neuro-surgeon...characterized what recovery would feel like—veils being lifted from my brain. My vocabulary, memory, vision, stamina, and a hundred other qualities that we normally take for granted were compromised. Palo Santo—I just started using this for back pain and it is amazing! Oregano..great when I feel the first sign of a cold or flu. 1 drop in a glass of water and it prevents anything from taking hold.
