Some years later, thrown in at the deep end exercising show jumpers, she learned that treating the horse with a more sensitive approach led to fewer bruises, bites and unscheduled meetings with terra firma. Carole trained as an aestheticienne in 1987 and gradually began to work more on animals than humans, finding essential oils by fortuitous accident some years ago. Carole later qualified as an aromatherapist with the specific aim of working with horses and has also studied with Caroline Ingraham who is well known for her work within the equine sphere.
