This battery operated diffuser can be powered by either 4 AA batteries for on the go diffusing, or with the power adapter that is included free with this diffuser. Oil is applied to the aroma pads (5 are included with the diffuser) and inserted into the diffuser. Pressing the button on the top activates the diffuser and an indicator light shows when the unit is functioning. The portability and quiet operation make this diffuser ideal for use in the car or while traveling. This diffuser uses cold room-temperature air to diffuse the essential oils. Power adapter for U.S. power supply only (110-Volt AC, 60 Hz).

1. Noise level is given as a non-numeric value because the noise level of this diffuser was too low to register on the sound level meter at a range of 18 inches.  2. The air saturation rating measures how much oil a diffuser can put into the air in a set amount of time for therapeutic purposes. Typically, the higher the air saturation rating, the larger the area the diffuser will cover (the actual square footage a diffuser can cover will vary depending on airflow, height of ceiling, climate, and the oil being diffused). Diffusers with a "Very High" rating have a maximum oil output ability of between .75 and 1.3 ml per 15 minutes of use.
